nextrade is the digital B2B market place for suppliers and retailers in the home and living business. nextrade is a uniform, digital order and data-management service for suppliers and retailers in just one system.
2. What advantages has nextrade to offer?
nextrade has the advantage that suppliers and retailers digitally use one system, in which orders can be made at any time of the day and night and current and new customers can be served. nextrade further offers suppliers a facility enabling buyers to experience brands and products in an immediate way, using pictures and information. Each supplier has its own shop within nextrade and the supplier decides who will have access to its shop. Retailers can search for products in a simple way, and the system offers simple, digital and convenient product-range management across all top suppliers. In addition retailers will find all pictures and information relating to the products ordered ready to download for marketing purposes.

7. What role does Messe Frankfurt play?
Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH is a shareholder in nmedia GmbH. Messe Frankfurt acts as nextrade's sales and marketing partner.
8. In which countries does nextrade operate?
nextrade is operating initially in Germany and Europe. But there is no regional restriction to the service, which will be supplied digitally in German and English.
9. What will nextrade cost?
For a manufacturer: € 600 fixed annual charge and a sales-related commission to the orders received via the system. These costs will be 1.5% sales commission for nmedia's EDI suppliers and 2.5% sales commission for all others.
For retailers: Nothing.
10. Can anyone register for the platform and order there?
Any retailer (NOT private individuals) can register there. Whether a retailer can order from a supplier or not will be decided by the supplier itself, which will then activate the retailer's access to the shop (or not).
